About Graiglwyd Springs Trout Fishery

Graiglwyd Springs near Penmaenmawr in Conwy is now a seasonal fishing-holiday venue rather than an ordinary day-ticket fishery. An October 2025 venue update states that fishing is reserved for guests taking holiday accommodation or short-break packages during the cooler autumn-to-spring period. Fishing is offered from dawn to dusk for staying guests, and tuition can be arranged as part of a tailored break. The two-and-a-half-acre reservoir dates from 1929, reaches more than 18 feet in depth and is stocked with rainbow and brown trout from about 2lb, including some larger rainbows reported in the 9lb to 11lb range. During the warmer months the water is used as an aquapark, so anglers must not rely on older listings that describe year-round public day tickets. The venue's Facebook page remains the best current link for site updates, while the published telephone number is 01492 622338. Before booking, confirm the precise fishing season, accommodation availability, package terms, permitted fly-fishing methods, catch rules and whether lessons or equipment are available for the chosen dates.
