About Esthwaite Water Trout Fishery
The natural lake supports fly fishing for trout, specialist pike angling and year-round bank fishing for perch, roach and bream. Self-drive electric boats open access to a wider range of trout and predator areas, while guided trips and tuition can be booked for visitors who want local support. Permits and Environment Agency licences can be obtained on site. The Boathouse area also provides parking, toilets, a tackle shop, cafe and several pegs positioned close to the car park for easier access.
