About Corbet Lough
Corbet Lough is a 70-acre stillwater trout fishery about three miles from Banbridge on the A50, managed for angling by Banbridge Angling Club. The lough is regularly stocked with hard-fighting rainbow trout and also holds stocked and overwintered brown trout. The general angling season runs from 1 March to 31 October, with boat fishing from 1 April to 31 October. Facilities include a dock and jetty, six McA fishing boats, electric engines and lifejackets, plus a Wheelyboat for disabled anglers. Bank access includes three wheelchair-accessible fishing stands, three platforms on the restricted concession shore and two timber shelters. The Boat Attendants' lodge has public toilets and sells soft drinks and confectionery during the season, while free parking is available but limited. Anglers need the appropriate Northern Ireland game rod licence as well as the relevant club ticket or permit; England and Wales rod licences are not valid in Northern Ireland.
