About Twynersh Fishing Complex

Twynersh has eight gravel pits of different sizes, with access split between day-ticket and membership waters. The current day-ticket information lists Old Match Lake and Pits 1, 2, 5, 6 and 7 for day-ticket access, while Pits 3 and 4 are members-only. Pit 6 can be booked exclusively, while ordinary day tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Night fishing is currently offered on Old Match Lake and Pits 2 and 7. The site has a tackle shop where tickets are purchased, and anglers must show a current rod licence before fishing.

Twynersh Fishing Complex venue rules

Twynersh requires a valid Environment Agency rod licence and fish-care equipment must be dipped on arrival. Day-ticket anglers are limited to two rods. For carp and specimen fishing the rules require at least 15lb main line, a 42- or 50-inch landing net, a sided carp cradle, water bucket and carp-care kit. Barbless hooks are required; fixed leads, leaders, leadcore, braided main line, nut baits and bait boats are prohibited. Rods must not be left unattended.
