Thorpe Lea Fishery venue rules

The dedicated rules page requires at least 12lb line, a minimum 42-inch landing net, a large padded mat or cradle, retaining sling and carp-care kit. Carp pellets and boilies are the only permitted baits, with zigs, surface fishing, braided main line, bait boats and castable electronic fish finders prohibited. Equipment must be dipped on arrival and departure and the site has a two-rod limit. The rules page permits barbed or micro-barbed hooks, while the homepage currently stresses barbed hooks, so the instruction given by fishery staff at booking should take precedence if this wording changes.
