About Effingham Carp Fishery

The carp lake is one of three waters created on the Indian Farm Estate during the early 1970s. Its features include two stream inlets, two islands, shallow feeding areas and depths reaching approximately 12 feet. The official fishery information lists around 100 carp, including fish over 30lb. On-site facilities include a cabin with a shower, toilet, basic kitchen and sitting area.

Effingham Carp Fishery venue rules

Bookings are for at least 23 hours. Anglers need an Environment Agency rod licence and may use up to three rods. Landing nets, unhooking mats and weigh slings are supplied by the fishery. Bait boats, dogs and non-fishing visitors are not permitted.
