About Stanwick Lakes Fisheries
The open-access complex includes Elson's, Mallard, Swan, Coot and Car Park lakes. Elson's is the main specimen water at about 6.5 acres with 16 swims and carp above 40lb; places are pre-booked with a maximum of 12 anglers on the lake. Four-acre Mallard has 21 swims and carp into the mid-30lb range, while three-acre Swan has 25 swims and a large carp stock. Coot is the smallest open water at about three quarters of an acre, and Car Park Lake is a one-acre mixed water beside the main parking area. Roman and the separate Kislingbury waters operate on a syndicate basis. Parking, toilets and a small tackle shop are available on site.
