About Elinor Trout Fishery
Elinor Trout Fishery is a 50-acre spring-fed limestone water near Aldwincle offering fly-only fishing for regularly stocked rainbow and brown trout. There is approximately one and a half miles of accessible bank fishing and a fleet of 16 purpose-built fishing boats, giving both bank and boat anglers access to the water. During its normal season the fishery opens daily from 7.30am until sunset, but it has planned closures during August and over part of the winter, so current status should be checked before travelling. Ticket options, tuition, guiding and corporate fishing days are available, with current reports and stocking updates published by the fishery.
