About Shillinglee Fishery
Shillinglee Fishery is a five-pond day-ticket complex near Chiddingfold on the Surrey and West Sussex border. Its main 6.5-acre spring-fed specimen lake has natural features and holds common and mirror carp over 30lb, tench, pike, roach, perch and golden rudd. Coarse fishing is available all year, normally from 6.30am until dusk, while pike fishing closes from 1 April through 30 September. The fishery's June 2026 news confirms the lakes reopened after spawning. Current rules ban barbed and micro-barbed hooks, wading, baiting poles and unattended rods. Anglers need a suitable landing net and unhooking mat, juniors must be accompanied, and bailiffs perform rig checks. Consult the current rules and payment information before fishing.
