About Rushmoor Lakes

Kingfisher Lake contains a varied coarse stock including roach, bream, koi and golden orfe, while the upper Pinetree Lake is managed as a specimen carp water. The fishery publishes summer opening hours of 08:00 to 20:00, with early starts and night fishing available by prior arrangement. Both lakes have toilet blocks with hot and cold water; Pinetree also has a shower block, and Kingfisher has a dedicated barbecue area near the car park.

Rushmoor Lakes venue rules

Both lakes operate catch-and-release fishing and require barbless hooks. Pinetree anglers need suitable specimen equipment, including at least 2lb test-curve rods, 10lb line, a 36-inch landing net, a thick high-sided unhooking mat and a carp-care kit. Fixed leads, tiger nuts, floating baits and braided main line are prohibited. Keepnets on Kingfisher are limited to match fishing.
