About Risby Park Fishing Ponds
The ponds occupy historic parkland on the former Risby Hall estate and offer a mixture of everyday coarse fishing and larger specimen targets. The four lakes have generously spaced pegs and support club matches as well as normal day-ticket sessions. Parking, toilets and the Folly Lake Cafe are available, together with a small tackle shop. Current rules require barbless hooks, prohibit unattended rods and require landing nets and permitted keepnets to be dipped before use. Anglers must also hold an Environment Agency rod licence.
