About Motorway Pond

The mature pond contains bays, weed beds and numerous underwater features, making accurate fish location important. Carp exceed 30lb, pike have passed 20lb and Wels catfish are also present, while pleasure anglers can target strong stocks of tench, bream and rudd. Standard association membership permits fishing from 5am until 10pm, with overnight access requiring an A Class permit. The fishery is protected by an otter fence, so all gates must remain locked. Fishing is prohibited along the public footpath beside the houses.
