Reached from the A760 above Largs, New Haylie occupies an open hillside position with views towards the Firth of Clyde and the islands beyond. The loch is primarily a day-ticket fly fishery for rainbow and brown trout, with bank fishing around the water. Parking, toilets, refreshments and basic tackle supplies are listed for visitors.
