About Magiscroft Fishery

The Main Loch holds larger carp to around 20lb alongside roach, bream, tench, perch, rudd and gudgeon, with depths reaching approximately 18 feet. Island Pond has 30 pegs, while the 19-peg Top Pond provides the easiest all-round access. Woodside has 23 sheltered pegs, the two Birch Ponds include paired swims, and Railway Pond has ten pegs and is particularly associated with larger tench. The clubhouse, cafe, tackle shop and parking serve the whole complex.

Magiscroft Fishery venue rules

All fish must be returned safely and every angler must carry a landing net. Manufactured barbless hooks no larger than size 8 are required. Smaller ponds are limited to one rod, while a separate two-rod permit is available for the Main Loch. Keepnets are allowed only during matches. Braid, electronic bite alarms, meat, nuts and non-fishery feed pellets are prohibited, and pike fishing is restricted to separately announced winter periods.
