About Orchill Loch Trout Fishery

The rural loch lies between Braco and Gleneagles and is managed for stillwater trout fishing rather than general coarse angling. It normally opens every day from 7:30am until dusk, except on Christmas Day. Anglers can fish from the bank or hire a boat, while the lochside chalet provides toilets, hot and cold drinks, snacks and pre-ordered pies. The fishery supplies landing nets to help maintain consistent biosecurity and fish care.
