About Ledcrieff Trout Fishery
Ledcrieff Trout Fishery is a six-acre woodland loch below the Lundie Crags at Tullybaccart, between Dundee and Blairgowrie. This fly-only water holds rainbow, blue, tiger, brook and brown trout, with stocked fish averaging 3lb to 4lb and specimens reported to 15lb. Catch-and-release and catch-and-retain time tickets are offered, with boats available for hire. Booking by phone or text is essential. Gates normally open at 8am and close at dark, with year-round fishing when the loch is not frozen. Roadside jetties offer wheelchair-friendly access, while tea, coffee, snacks, tackle hire and tuition are available by arrangement. Barbless hooks are required for fish being released, and all brown, brook and tiger trout must be returned. Check the official site for current prices and rules.
