About Loch Awe
Loch Awe is a major natural freshwater loch in Argyll and Bute, extending for about 27 miles and reaching depths of more than 300 feet. The Loch Awe Improvement Association manages fishing information, permits, maps, seasons and by-laws for visiting anglers. The loch supports wild brown trout and Arctic char and is particularly well known for ferox trout and sizeable pike, with other coarse fish also present.
