About Wold View Country Park and Fisheries

Wold View Country Park at Claxby has seven established coarse lakes stocked with barbel, common, mirror and crucian carp, tench, roach, rudd, ide, perch, bream, skimmers and F1s. Gold is the largest general fishing water, while Silver, Canal, Island and Ultimate cover a mix of pole, float and pleasure fishing. Pegs are widely spaced, and several waters have wheelchair-friendly access and nearby parking. Bronze is the specimen carp lake, holding fish to around 30lb, but is reserved for lodge guests and has no day tickets. General rules require barbless hooks, fish return and an unhooking mat. The park also provides lodges, pods, touring pitches, toilets, showers, a tackle shop and cafe. Confirm access and availability before booking.
