About Caistor Lakes Fishing

Foundry Pool is about 1.5 acres with 13 wheelchair-accessible pegs, gravel paths and a mixed stock including ide, bream, tench, perch, roach, barbel, crucians, chub and carp. Heron Pool covers about two acres and offers similarly accessible pleasure fishing with a broad mixed stock. Arthur's Pool is the larger three-acre carp water, containing common and mirror carp, golden crucians, bream and perch. Fishing from Arthur's is reserved for four lodges with direct access.

Caistor Lakes Fishing venue rules

Day tickets apply to Foundry and Heron on a first-come, first-served basis; their pegs cannot be reserved, and anglers are limited to one rod per ticket. Arthur's Pool is not available on a day ticket and may only be fished from the allocated lodge decking. A valid Environment Agency licence is required. Barbless hooks are compulsory, braided main line and nuts are prohibited, and the venue's handling and unhooking requirements must be followed.
