About Viaduct Fishery

Viaduct Fishery has six well-stocked waters for coarse and carp fishing. Spring and Middle are connected and hold carp to the high twenties as well as silverfish and perch. Match Lake is aimed at busy pleasure sessions and beginners, with F1s, smaller carp and silverfish. Lodge Lake offers carp to around 20lb, while Cary is a popular runs water for larger carp, perch and tench. Campbell is reserved for competitions and is not available for ordinary pleasure fishing. The fishery also has an on-site tackle shop and seven Norwegian-style holiday lodges.

Viaduct Fishery venue rules

Pleasure fishing is from dawn until dusk with a maximum of two rods per angler. Tickets must be purchased before fishing. Barbless hooks, landing nets and suitable unhooking equipment are required. Fixed rigs, elasticated feeders, braided reel lines, lure fishing, spinning and live or dead baits are prohibited. Carp and F1s must not be placed in keepnets; silverfish may be retained subject to the published weight limit. Juniors must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
