About Avalon Fisheries

Heath Lake covers about two acres and holds a large head of double-figure carp, including fish above 30lb. Fourteen of its 16 pegs are available for night sessions, with two dedicated day-only pegs. Moors Lake is a five-acre match and pleasure water with 48 permanent platform pegs. Its mixed stock includes carp into double figures, tench, bream, skimmers, roach, rudd, chub, perch and pike. Fenwood is reserved as a limited-ticket syndicate lake for more experienced anglers.

Avalon Fisheries venue rules

Heath Lake day and night sessions must be booked in advance and are limited to two rods. Overnight anglers must be at least 18, while under-16 day anglers need adult supervision. A carp cradle or large padded mat and a landing net of at least 42 inches are required. On Moors Lake, anglers fish from platforms with a maximum of two rods, barbless hooks no larger than size 10 and dry nets. Braided reel line, fixed feeders, method feeders, surface baits and several particle baits are prohibited.
