The established fishery includes Mallard, Orfe, Canal and Trevor's specimen carp pools, with accessible pegs, parking, a cafe and tackle and bait facilities shown across the venue website. However, an official notice published in July 2025 says public day-ticket fishing was stopped and that alternative access, potentially through a limited season-ticket arrangement, was being considered for 2026. No later reopening notice was found during the July 2026 check, so visitors should confirm current eligibility directly with Spring Lea Park.
