About Blackthorn Fishery
The principal lake contains a carefully managed stock of just over one hundred carp and features depths from roughly four to ten feet, including underwater plateaus and margins accessible from the lodges. The venue now mainly accepts lodge and cabin bookings rather than ordinary day tickets. Members may sometimes book bivvy fishing when accommodation is unoccupied, but all fishing and lake viewing must be arranged in advance.
