About Shearwater Lake
Longleat describes Shearwater as a 36-acre coarse fishing lake near Warminster, set in woodland and catering for a wide range of angling styles and species. Fishing remains open following the Estate's recent reservoir and visitor-area improvement works. Current access is managed through advance online booking, with Longleat directing anglers to GoCatch for fishing reservations. The Estate's current fishing guidance says cash is not accepted on the day and vehicles may only be used for drop-off at vehicle-accessible swims before being moved to the visitor car park.
