About Ivy House Lakes
Ivy House Lakes is a 22-acre fishery at Grittenham near Chippenham with seven waters covering pleasure, match and specimen carp fishing. Heron is the dedicated match lake; Kingfisher and Moorhen provide canal-style pleasure and club fishing; Peters Pond is designed for beginners and adults fishing with children. Willow is a carp runs water with fish to 24lb, while the Specimen Lake holds carp over 30lb and is booked exclusively for experienced carp anglers. Night and longer sessions are available on selected waters, with advance booking required for carp pegs. The site has parking near the lakes, toilets, a lakeside cafe and a tackle and bait shop. Normal fishing hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 7.30am to 6pm, with day anglers required to leave their pegs by 4pm. Check individual lake pages for availability, booking requirements and rules.
