About Newland Hall Fishery
Newland Hall Fishery is a four-lake day and night ticket complex on the Newland Hall estate near Roxwell, around four miles west of Chelmsford. The four waters total roughly ten acres and offer carp, pleasure and match fishing. Brook Lake has 50 pegs and is stocked with carp, roach and perch; Moat Lake has 30 pegs and is suited to match and pleasure fishing; Park Lake has 15 pegs; and Osiers Lake is an eight-swim specialist carp water that can also be hired exclusively. The fishery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, although entry is only permitted between 6am and 8pm. Normal day and night fishing is first come, first served without advance booking, and tickets are issued on the bank. Payment is currently cash only.
