About Chigborough Farm and Fisheries
Chigborough's principal coarse waters are May Water, Heybridge Mere and Scraley Mere. May Water is a large former gravel working with islands and varied depths for carp, catfish and specimen coarse fishing. Heybridge Mere is a smaller mixed water suited to pleasure anglers and newcomers, while Scraley Mere focuses on carp and has different weekday and weekend access arrangements. Tickets must be booked online before arrival. The fishery provides toilets near the entrance and trout lodge, with a shower available for anglers staying on longer sessions.
