About Claverhambury Carp Lakes
Claverhambury Carp Lakes has two contrasting waters on farmland outside Waltham Abbey. The Bottom Lake, nearest the car park, is arranged for match and pleasure fishing with carp, roach and rudd, while its depth changes from deeper water near the car park to shallows at the far end. The Top Lake provides more informal carp and roach fishing and is suited to less experienced anglers. Night fishing is not permitted, toilets are available and visitors must remain within the fishery boundaries. Check the Facebook page for temporary lake closures before travelling.
