About Monk Lakes

The fishery covers about 120 acres, including roughly 45 acres of water. Bridges is a 16-acre pleasure lake and Puma covers about 10 acres, both holding mixed coarse species and carp. Five-acre Mallard is the specimen water, where the venue advertises carp to around 45lb and catfish, with only ten anglers allowed at a time. Four separate match lakes range from about 1.5 to four acres and provide platform fishing for carp, barbel, bream, tench, chub and roach. The complex also includes fishing on the River Beult, plus parking, tackle and bait sales, a cafe and toilets.
