Jennetts Reservoir is an eight-acre South West Lakes Trust coarse fishery near Bideford with 27 swims. It has a national reputation as a carp runs water, holding common carp to 32lb and mirror carp to 28lb, including a strong head of fish over 20lb. The reservoir also contains bream, tench, roach, rudd, perch and eels, with float, pole and feeder fishing capable of producing substantial mixed bags. Fishing is available all year from dawn to dusk. Day permits must be booked through Catch, and anglers need to follow the Jennetts and South West Water rules. Parking and toilets are provided, although visitors should be aware of the steep incline between the car park and reservoir.
