Forest Ponds venue rules

Anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency rod licence and use suitable carp rods, a minimum 15lb reel line and a 42-inch landing net. Leads must be able to eject or pull free easily, and leadcore and naked-line setups are prohibited; approved leadless leaders or tubing may be used instead. Rods must not be left unattended and surface fishing is prohibited. Suitable unhooking mats or cradles, weigh slings and carp-care liquid are required, with landed fish kept out of the water for the minimum possible time.
