About Forbes of Kingennie Fishing Pools
Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort near Dundee has four stocked trout pools offering both fly and bait fishing. Rainbow, blue, tiger and brown trout are stocked regularly, with fish commonly around 2lb and larger specimens reaching well into double figures. Boathouse and Burnside are fly-fishing pools, while Woodside is an any-legal-method bait pool suited to beginners and families; catch and release there is limited to fly permits. Platforms and piers are provided, together with ample parking, tackle supplies and bait rod hire at the Sportsman's Entrance.
