The separate 2-acre Carp Lake also has 10 pegs and contains a healthy stock of carp, with a published record of 28lb. Predator anglers have a dedicated 1.5-acre, eight-peg lake stocked with catfish, pike and perch. Clavering reports catfish to more than 85lb, while pike fishing is seasonal and subject to specific predator rules. The 2-acre Match Lake has 18 pegs and contains carp, tench, bream, perch and silver fish, making it suitable for traditional mixed coarse fishing and organised matches.
