About Brooklands Fishery

Brooklands sits between Brompton-by-Sawdon and Sherburn and combines an adults-only caravan and cottage retreat with a stocked fishing lake. Cottage guests have purpose-built stone platforms directly outside the apartments, while the venue also advertises 13 well-spaced pegs and seasonal day tickets. The published stock includes carp to around 15lb together with rudd, roach, tench and bream. Fishing is included for cottage guests, and the accommodation provides storage for fishing equipment.

Brooklands Fishery venue rules

Barbless hooks and an unhooking mat are compulsory, and the published maximum line strength is 10lb. Keepnets, cat food, peanuts and night fishing are prohibited. Fish must be returned promptly and carefully, and anglers must remove rubbish and unused bait from the peg. Cottage residents may fish their designated platform without an additional rod fee; other access should be arranged with the venue.
