Dobbits Pond has 30 pegs and a broad stock including small carp, tench, F1s, chub, bream, roach, rudd and perch. The 16-peg Merkwood Pond is less carp-focused and contains bream, roach, tench, barbel, ide and chub. Gandelf's is a two-acre specialist water holding larger carp, with eight member-bookable pegs and three public pegs for longer sessions. The site provides separate parking areas, toilets, running water and an honesty-box ticket system.

Brickyard Fishery venue rules

Tickets must be paid for before fishing. Dobbits and Merkwood are one-rod waters open from 7am until 9pm or sunset, with barbless hooks and marked pegs only; keepnets are permitted only on Merkwood. Gandelf's allows up to three rods, requires at least 15lb line, a 36-inch landing net and a carp cradle or mat, and night sessions must be booked at least 48 hours ahead. The otter-security gate must always be closed.
