Seven Lakes Fishery venue rules

A valid rod licence is required and barbless hooks are compulsory. The general rules prohibit braided main line, leadcore, keepnets, swimming, wading, alcohol, drugs, fires and barbecues, and anglers must remain within four metres of rods in the water. A maximum of two rods applies normally. Lakes 6 and 7 require a minimum 36-inch landing net for carp fishing, a large padded mat or cradle and at least 12lb line. Pike fishing is limited to Lakes 1 and 2 between 1 October and 15 March, with no livebaiting and a wire trace required.
