About Rutland Water
Rutland Water is predominantly managed as a trout fly-fishing venue, with day and season tickets available for both bank and boat anglers. Brown and rainbow trout are the main quarry, and the reservoir also opens for seasonal predator fishing for pike, perch and zander. Facilities at the Normanton fishing lodge include permit sales, tackle supplies, boat hire and a cafe. Fishing courses and competitions are also hosted during the season.
