About Hampton Springs Fishery
The complex includes Alice Springs, Folly, Long Island, Meadows, Oasis, Poplars, Rock Pool and Willows. Most waters hold mixed stocks of carp, barbel, chub, tench, bream, roach and perch, while Folly is reserved for specimen-carp syndicate members. The lakes offer island features, lilies and varied depths for pole, feeder and waggler approaches. The fishery currently operates daily daytime hours and requires anglers to hold a rod licence, use barbless hooks and follow its bait, net and fish-care rules.
