About Gwinear Angling
Gwinear Angling is a two-lake carp and coarse fishery at Cubert, around three miles from Newquay. Both waters are open to anglers whether or not they are staying at the adjoining campsite. The Specimen Lake holds numerous carp above 30lb and many more in the 20lb to 30lb bracket. The Pleasure Lake offers faster-action fishing, with carp averaging about 8lb to 10lb and reaching the mid-20s; both lakes also contain other coarse species. A large on-site tackle shop stocks carp, coarse, sea, lure and predator gear. The campsite has toilets, heated showers, Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and food.
