About Edgbaston Reservoir

The reservoir provides open-water coarse fishing within a busy Birmingham nature reserve used for walking, recreation and water-based activities. Angling is managed under Birmingham City Council's parks-fishing arrangements. Fishing is suspended each year during the spawning season, so the water is not available from 15 March through 15 June. Anglers must also hold and carry a valid Environment Agency fishing rod licence.
