Borwick Lakes forms part of South Lakeland Leisure Village near Carnforth, close to the southern Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. The fishery comprises four interconnecting lakes with a choice of secluded pegs. It holds specimen carp above 30lb together with chub, tench, roach, crucian carp, perch, bream, skimmers and other silverfish. Fishing is provided for holiday guests and park owners rather than being advertised as an ordinary public day-ticket venue. Guests without direct access to the village's main lake can use the Borwick Lakes development, while the main lake is free for owners and holiday guests whose accommodation includes access. Anglers should confirm which water and pegs their booking covers, whether a ticket or reservation is required, and the current fishery rules before travelling. The wider leisure village offers holiday lodges, the Waters Edge restaurant and bar, a heated swimming pool, gym, steam room, spa, parking and other holiday facilities.
