About Willen Lake Fishing
Willen Lake North and South form a very large Milton Keynes fishery managed by Milton Keynes Angling Association. Together the two balancing lakes cover around 150 acres and are known for specimen carp, large bream, tench and pike. Willen South has produced the current MKAA record carp, while Willen North also holds sizeable carp and bream. Since 16 June 2023, Willen has been an MKAA members-only water and normal day-member tickets are not available. The lakes are open throughout the year and night fishing is permitted in authorised areas. Because the water is also heavily used for public recreation and watersports, fishing access varies around the banks and anglers must observe the signed boundaries.
