About Westwoodside Lakes

Mirlwyn is the larger of the two lakes, while Colwyn has a central island and is identified by the club as the match lake. Carp exceed 20lb and the waters also contain specimen pike, but they are stocked to provide regular action rather than functioning only as low-stock specimen venues. Pine trees shelter the banks and create a mature setting. Parking is available around the fishery, and on many banks anglers can leave their vehicle close behind the peg. The club describes the banks as suitable for less able anglers.
