About Priory Country Park

Fishing at Priory Country Park is controlled through Bedford Borough Council's seasonal permit scheme rather than individual day tickets. Anglers may fish only the designated waters and established swims shown on map boards around the park and outside the visitor centre. The season normally runs from 16 June until 14 March, with fishing prohibited during the closed season. Permit holders also need an Environment Agency rod licence, must return all fish and may not use keepnets. Parking is allowed only in the park's designated areas.
