About Packington Somers Fishery

The complex includes the 60-peg Molands, eight-acre Gearys, 30-peg Little Gearys, Anniversaries, Siblings A and B, Gratuities and Willow, plus four smaller pleasure pools. Stocks vary by water and include carp above 20lb, F1s, tench, bream, skimmers, roach, perch, crucians, ide and barbel. The on-site lodge contains a cafe and tackle shop, parking is distributed around the fishery and most pools are described as suitable for disabled anglers.

Packington Somers Fishery venue rules

Anglers need a valid Environment Agency rod licence and must fish from designated pegs. The published rules require barbless hooks, allow no more than two rods and prohibit braided main line. Fish must be returned to the water and peg from which they were caught, while keepnets are allowed only during matches. Rods must not be left unattended, and fires, dogs, bikes and loud radios are prohibited.
