About Kirton Hall Lake

This old estate lake is set among oak trees in the Suffolk countryside and has been kept relatively natural around its margins. Forty-two of the 54 pegs use large wooden platforms, with reeds separating many swims during summer. The mixed stock includes carp above 25lb, tench approaching double figures, bream, perch, rudd, roach, crucian carp and skimmers. Pole, feeder and float tactics are all used, and tickets must be bought before arrival because none are sold on the bank.
