About Brogborough Lagoon
Brogborough Lagoon is a former clay excavation that was initially used as a stock pond before opening for general angling. The water has 14 permanent wooden platform pegs, reached from the car park along a surfaced track and access slope suitable for fishing trolleys. Typical depths are around six to eight feet, with occasional deeper holes. Large shoals of roach, rudd and tench are joined by carp, bream, perch, chub and barbel. The lagoon is also used for club and junior matches, so anglers should check the club diary before visiting.
