Aston Park Fisheries at Aston near Sheffield is a busy multi-lake coarse fishery for pleasure, match, specimen carp and night anglers. Stocks across the complex include carp, F1s, tench, bream, roach, perch, barbel, ide, crucians and chub. Lilly is the mature specimen lake, with carp above 30lb, while other waters offer high-stock mixed fishing suited to beginners and match anglers. Gates open at 5:30am and ordinary fishing runs from dawn to dusk, seven days a week. Pleasure tickets cover one, two or three rods, with junior and concession rates, while 24-hour fishing is available for up to three rods. Advance booking is not normally required: anglers can turn up, but should check the weekly availability list and lake-closure signs because matches can affect access. Tickets are sold on the bank or at the Angling Centre. Facilities include the well-stocked tackle and bait shop and Waters Edge Cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks.
