About Ampthill Reservoir

Ampthill Reservoir, locally known as the Ressy, is a spring-fed pleasure water of approximately one acre in Ampthill Park. Around 21 pegs overlook marginal reeds and water lilies, with depths varying from roughly two to six feet. The mixed stock makes it suitable for varied pleasure-fishing methods rather than a single-species approach. Access is on foot from the main park car park, and the entrance gates must be secured when entering or leaving. Anglers must carry a landing net and follow the club's hook and line rules.
